About Me

Dr. Alison Parker, once simply known as Alison, was a little girl who hated math but loved racing the B49 bus down Bedford Avenue. She also cherished her time reading and playing Pacman, handball, and chess. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, her childhood took a turn when her parents divorced at the age of five, and she lost her breadwinner father to cancer at eleven. This left her family financially broken and Alison emotionally traumatized. As the firstborn daughter, she witnessed her single mother’s financial struggles, including three evictions and difficulty making ends meet.

After divorcing her first husband, Alison was determined to provide a more financially stable life for her daughter, Nia Imani, whom she gave birth to on January 14, 1998. Alison moved and bought a new house in Virginia when Nia was six. Inspired by a story her mother shared about a woman who owned five properties in Virginia, Alison set her sights on real estate to build wealth, provide cash flow, and leave a legacy for her daughter. This decision spurred her to buy small, affordable properties, fix them up, and rent them out.

After numerous trials and successes, Dr. Alison Parker is now committed to helping other women become real estate investors, empowering them to secure their futures and live life abundantly for themselves and their children.
